MUNCIE, IN - Ball State University has just announced that residence halls will open early, but students have less than 24 hours to adjust. In an email sent out Friday morning, January 3, Housing and Residence Life informed students that they need to return to campus by tomorrow, Saturday, January 4, due to a Winter Storm Watch in effect for Sunday, January 5, through Monday, January 6.      While the University is taking action to ensure students can get back safely before the storm, the short notice has many students scrambling to rearrange their travel plans.      Here’s everything you need to know: Residence Halls Opening : All residence halls will open at noon on Saturday, January 4, for returning students.
